Clerical Assistant/Accounting Clerk

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Clerical Assistant/Accounting Clerk provides assistance in the development and implementation of administrative and financial goals and objectives relative to administrative and general accounting requirements and fulfills the day-to-day administrative and financial functions for the Finance Department.

This is a permanent full-time Union position, based on a thirty-five (35) hour work week, being Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The current rate of pay is $22.88/hour, subject to a Pay Equity Review. Earnings will be subject to Union dues.

Public Works Department

NEW POSITION - Manager of Waste Facilities

The Township is accepting resumes for a Manager of Waste Facilities. This new position will lead the day-to-day operations of the Waste Facilities. Key areas of responsibility include; monitoring, planning, developing waste facilities; supervision of Waste Facility Staff; coordination of waste facility contractors; research and development of waste programs; acts as the liaison for the Township waste facility sites. The Manager of Waste Facilities ensures supervisory and safety components are met and will respond to public inquiries on a regular basis. The Manager of Waste Facilities, is required to be on-call and may be required to work extended hours as required.

This is a full time position, consisting of 35 hours/week, being variable shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and some Statutory holidays.

The salary range for this position is $62,498 - $73,546
